Columbus Cardiology Associates, a partner of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is a growing cardiology practice serving patients throughout Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL. Our collaborative team of six cardiologists and nine Advanced Practice Providers delivers high-quality, compassionate cardiovascular care across both clinic and hospital settings, supported by a full spectrum of cardiac and vascular testing.

As we expand services across South Georgia, we are excited to welcome a patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider to our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide cardiology care primarily within the Columbus clinic, with support across affiliated hospitals

  • Manage a panel of office patients, including evaluations, diagnostic testing, medication management, and referrals

  • Participate in hospital consults and rounding alongside cardiologists and fellow APPs

  • Perform patient histories and documentation, order and interpret testing, supervise stress tests, and manage treatment plans

  • Collaborate closely with a collegial, supportive team in both clinic and hospital environments

Schedule & Highlights

  • Monday–Friday schedule with half-day Fridays

  • Occasional weekend rounding

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program; board certification required

  • Cardiology experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply

  • Strong work ethic with a focus on patient satisfaction and quality care

  • Team-oriented, motivated, and patient-centered
