Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: Lecanto & Inverness, FL
Citrus Cardiology Consultants, a partner of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team. This position includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities in Lecanto and Inverness.
Our practice focuses on teamwork, quality patient care, and a supportive environment for both new and experienced providers. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in general cardiology. New graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply.
Position Details
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
- One weekend per month (shared rotation)
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient responsibilities
- Locations: Lecanto and Inverness
- Exposure to a wide range of general cardiology cases
- Collaborative team of cardiologists and APPs
- Employed position with full benefits

Responsibilities
- Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings
- Evaluate patients and manage follow-up visits
- Manage chronic cardiac conditions and medications
- Review diagnostic tests and help guide treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and care team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP or PA-C)
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
