A large, well-established cardiovascular group in Central Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its collaborative, physician-led team. This full-time opportunity emphasizes outpatient cardiology, including follow-up visits, chronic disease management, and continuity of care, with some hospital involvement as needed.
Job Highlights
- Full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule
- Outpatient-focused role supporting the evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Provide follow-up care, manage medications, review diagnostic results, and educate patients
- Collaborate with physicians and APPs to coordinate treatment plans and ongoing care
- Some inpatient responsibilities, including hospital rounding and consults, as needed
- Join a large cardiology group with 15+ physicians and 15+ APPs across multiple locations
- Work alongside specialists in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular care
- Access to advanced cardiac diagnostics, imaging, and procedural services
- Main clinic located in Tavares, Florida
Qualifications
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain
- Cardiology experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities
- Team-oriented approach and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
