FULLY REMOTE POSITION - WORK FROM HOME - DAY SHIFT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
We are looking for candidates who want to use their expertise in technology to improve the care and diagnosis of patients requiring cardiac monitoring. We are recruiting candidates that have excellent analytical skills and experience with electrocardiograms/EKGs and can provide clear reporting to the cardiology care team. The technician is responsible for the real-time monitoring and evaluation of cardiac rhythms rhythm EKG analysis of transmitted data. The technician will further ability to:
  • Observe and interpret heart monitors – including irregular heartbeats, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest.
  • Communicating abnormal findings to the cardiology care team.
  • Recording and editing monitor logs
  • Prepares a full disclosure report for entry into the EMR once the physician evaluates and approves.
  • Effectively recognize ECG abnormalities and clearly reports information to physicians as required according to notification protocol.
  • Produce report delivered to the physician and perform report format modifications and additions as requested by physician.
  • Tracks monitor type, charges, ordering physician, date monitor provided and by whom, return date and when report sent to physician.
  • Creates clear, accurate documentation on patient status and activity during the shift.
  • Sorts and files all papers received by fax or electronically.
  • Basic monitor troubleshooting with patients – i.e., charging devices or reapplying devices.
  • Ability to follow clinical protocols.
  • Orient new staff.
  • Participate in continued team education through shared learnings.
  • Contribute to a high-quality service both to physicians and patients.
  • Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in a healthcare role or certification in a healthcare role
  • Strong technical and computer skills
  • Licensed Paramedic
  • Licensed LPN or RN
  • Degree in exercise physiology or similar
  • Enrolled in college for nursing or healthcare
  • Looking for healthcare experience to apply to PA school
  • Strong technical and computer skills
  • Great communication and multi-tasking skills

REQUIREMENTS
  • Certified CRAT/CCT
  • Experience with MCT monitoring
SCHEDULE

Shifts Available, EST (please indicate shift preference you have): Additionally, weekends are included.
Shift options are:
 5–8-hour
4 -10-hour shifts
