Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) – Outpatient Cardiology (Clinic-Based)

Citrus Cardiology Consultants, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is looking to add a patient-centered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to our outpatient cardiology clinics in Lecanto and Inverness. Our team is built on collaboration, clinical excellence, and strong working relationships between physicians and APPs.
This role is entirely clinic-based with a consistent weekday schedule and no inpatient or on-call duties. It’s a great fit for APPs seeking long-term growth in general cardiology within a supportive, established practice. New graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are welcome to apply.
Position Highlights
Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
Outpatient cardiology clinics in Lecanto and Inverness
Broad general cardiology exposure: new consults and follow-up care
No call, no evenings, no weekends, no hospital rounding

Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient cardiovascular care including evaluations and follow-ups
Manage chronic cardiac conditions and medication regimens
Review diagnostic testing and coordinate treatment plans
Work closely with physicians, APP colleagues, and clinic staff
Maintain thorough, timely documentation and patient-focused care standards
Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP or PA-C)
Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
Genuine interest in outpatient cardiology
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
