Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Cardiology

First Coast Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in St. Augustine. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and General Cardiologists in a collaborative practice environment.
The role includes a mix of outpatient clinic care and limited hospital responsibilities, providing exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions and treatment plans. New graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
- Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits in the outpatient setting
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, imaging studies, stress testing, and laboratory results
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
- Participate in weekend hospital rounding and consult coverage as part of a shared rotation
- Provide remote weekday evening call coverage and coordinate patient handoff as needed
Schedule & Call
- Monday–Friday outpatient clinic schedule
- Shared weekend hospital call rotation with another APP
- Remote weekday call coverage from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Monday off following weekend call coverage

Qualifications
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Cardiology experience is preferred but not required
- New graduates with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine are encouraged to apply
