Looking to bring your clinical experience into cardiology?

We are seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established and growing cardiology practice serving the greater Orlando area.

Direct cardiology experience is not required. We welcome APPs with transferable experience in primary care, internal medicine, hospital medicine, pulmonary medicine, or cardiology who are interested in developing their cardiovascular knowledge alongside an experienced team.

You'll work with more than 10 cardiologists across an established cardiovascular program, caring for a diverse patient population in both the outpatient clinic and hospital setting.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule

  • Mix of outpatient and hospital-based cardiology

  • Join an established team of 10+ cardiologists

  • Opportunity to transition into and grow within cardiology

  • Primary care, hospitalist, pulmonary, and other relevant clinical backgrounds considered

  • Established patient population and strong referral network

  • Light, phone-only call — approximately four nights per month

  • Shared weekend coverage — approximately one weekend per month

  • Competitive compensation with growth potential

  • Comprehensive benefits, PTO, and CME allowance

  • Long-term career growth within an established cardiovascular practice

Bring Your Experience to Cardiology

You don't need to already be a cardiology expert to bring valuable experience to our team.

APPs coming from primary care or internal medicine may bring experience managing hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and other cardiovascular risk factors.

Providers with hospitalist, inpatient, or pulmonary backgrounds may bring valuable experience managing medically complex patients, interpreting diagnostic testing, coordinating care, and treating conditions that frequently overlap with cardiovascular disease.

Our team provides the collaborative environment and physician support to help the right provider continue building their expertise in cardiovascular medicine.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll work alongside our cardiologists to care for patients across the continuum of cardiovascular care. Responsibilities may include:

  • Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions

  • Provide outpatient cardiovascular follow-up and ongoing disease management

  • Participate in hospital-based cardiology care

  • Review patient histories, medications, symptoms, and treatment progress

  • Order and review appropriate laboratory and cardiovascular diagnostic testing

  • Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists

  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, risk factors, and treatment plans

  • Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals

What We're Looking For

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

  • Active Florida license or ability to obtain licensure

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • APP experience in cardiology, primary care, internal medicine, hospital medicine, pulmonary medicine, or another relevant clinical specialty

  • Interest in developing or continuing a career in cardiovascular medicine

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Collaborative, patient-centered approach to care

  • One weekend of shared coverage per month

Practice locations throughout the greater Orlando area include Celebration, Davenport, Kissimmee, Orlando, Poinciana, and St. Cloud.

We offer a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Competitive base compensation with growth potential

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Build Your Career in Cardiology

This is an opportunity to join a growing cardiovascular practice while bringing the clinical skills you've already developed in another specialty.
