Greater Orlando, Florida | Full-Time | Outpatient & Hospital Care | Physician Support
Bring your clinical background to a growing cardiovascular team.
An established cardiology practice serving the greater Orlando area is seeking a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care in outpatient and hospital settings.
You’ll collaborate with more than 10 cardiologists, caring for a diverse patient population while expanding your cardiovascular expertise.
Previous cardiology experience is not required. We welcome experienced APPs from primary care, internal medicine, hospital medicine, pulmonary medicine, and other relevant specialties who are ready to pursue a career in cardiology.
The skills you’ve developed in another specialty can provide a strong foundation for cardiovascular care.
Primary care and internal medicine providers bring experience managing chronic conditions and cardiovascular risk factors, including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia. APPs from hospital medicine or pulmonary care bring experience assessing complex patients, reviewing diagnostic studies, and coordinating treatment across clinical teams.
At our practice, you’ll have physician support and opportunities for continued learning as you apply those skills to cardiology. Providers already working in cardiovascular medicine can continue developing their expertise within an established program.
The regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a combination of clinic visits and hospital-based cardiology care.
Additional responsibilities are shared among the team and include approximately:
Four nights of phone-only call per month
One weekend of coverage per month
The practice serves communities throughout greater Orlando, with locations in Celebration, Davenport, Kissimmee, Orlando, Poinciana, and St. Cloud.
Working closely with our cardiologists and clinical staff, you will:
Assess patients with cardiovascular symptoms and conditions
Provide outpatient follow-up, monitor treatment progress, and manage ongoing cardiac care
Participate in hospital-based cardiology services
Review medical histories, medications, and relevant clinical findings
Order and review laboratory studies and cardiovascular diagnostic testing
Develop and modify treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
Help patients and families understand diagnoses, medications, and recommendations for reducing cardiovascular risk

Qualified candidates will have:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
An active Florida license or the ability to obtain licensure
Fluency in English and Spanish
APP experience in cardiology, primary care, internal medicine, hospital medicine, pulmonary medicine, or another relevant specialty
An interest in building or advancing a career in cardiovascular care
Strong clinical judgment and clear communication skills
A collaborative approach and commitment to patient-centered care
Join a growing cardiovascular program with an established patient population, a strong referral network, and an experienced physician team.
The compensation and benefits package includes:
Competitive base compensation with growth potential
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
Retirement benefits
Generous paid time off
CME allowance and continuing education support
Professional development and opportunities for long-term career growth
Whether you’re bringing experience from another specialty or continuing an established cardiology career, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your skills across both outpatient and hospital care.
If you’re a bilingual NP or PA ready to grow with a greater Orlando cardiology practice, we encourage you to apply.
